Saturday March 10th, 2012 – Sergeant Shredder partners with Riverside County Sheriff’s Department – Calimesa, CA
Sergeant Shredder’s bonded and insured mobile document shredding service recently agreed to collaborate with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Cabazon Station during a recent “Shred-a-Thon” event.
This event was an effort to prevent identity theft for the community of Calimesa and surrounding areas. Approximately 7,000 lbs of documents were securely shredded and recycled from the community that otherwise may have been used to commit identity theft.
A special thanks to Dan Hartnett and his professional staff at Sergeant Shredder for making this “Shred-a-Thon” event a huge success. The Calimesa City Council coupled with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department look forward to futures events with Sergeant Shredder.

May 21st, 2011 - Another Successful Shredding Event for Stanford Middle School in Long Beach, CA
Simply put, Sergeant Shredder is the very best!
When looking to put together a community shred as a promotional/fundraiser event at a local school, I called numerous shredding outfits. Each company, that even bothered to reply to my inquiry, was either hostile to the idea of holding a "free" event or they were willing to charge me an exorbitant price for the service.
Luck was on my side when I found Sergeant Shredder. I placed an inquiry on a generic "find a shredding company internet site" and I received a return call within the hour. Not only was Dan Hartnett, the owner operator of Sergeant Shredder willing to hold an event, he offered to split the profits of the sale of the paper with the school's PTA!
We held our first event in November 2010 and our second event 6 months later in May 2011, where we made nearly $600 after splitting the profits from the recycled paper Sergeant Shredder generously donated back to the school. The positive community response is fantastic with people insisting they make a donation to the school at the same time.
Dan and his workers are professional, extremely reliable, a pleasure to work with, and excellent at putting everyone at ease about destroying their sensitive documents. I would highly recommend them for either a fundraiser or business use as you get competitive pricing and the very best customer service.

April 16, 2011 - Shredding & Recycling Event for Hughes Middle School and Longfellow Elementary School in Long Beach, CA
Thank you Sergeant Shredder for your support of our schools! It was a pleasure to work with you — you are so easy-going, professional, flexible, and fun! We are trying to build campus awareness of basic environmental issues, like responsible recycling, and we really appreciated your help in doing so.
